Projects
Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide.  Below are the projects in which we are currently involved:

Annual Crab Feast Conduct our 60th annual Crab Feast at the Arcadia Volunteer Fire company to raise funds for our various service projects. Edward Schutz
Boy Scout Troop 315 Provide financial support along with assistance to the Boy Scout Troop 315 and Cub Pack 315. We have being sponsoring these two organizations for the past 65 years. Lindley DeGarmo
Christmas Baskets Program Through donations, club support and a local merchant, we provide Christmas baskets and Christmas gifts to 8 needy families during the Christmas Holiday. Jerald DeBar
Community Paper Shredder Have individuals bring in their old tax returns, newspapers and other paper products to be shredded while they watch. James Lichty
Cookers for thr Troops Baking and packaging cookies and treats for the troops over seas. J Guy
Demolition Derby Funnel Cakes Selling funnel cakes during the Arcadia Vol. Fire Co's Demolition Derby event to raise monies to support our various service projects. Gary Beck
Fuddruckers Dinner Night Out To do out together with friends, neighbors and others and eat out and socialize. This was a fund raiser to provide funds to support out various service projects. Lindley DeGarmo
Hampstead Days To sell funnel cakes during this one day festival to raise funds to support our various service projects. Gary Beck
High School Scholarship Awards Select and present six (6)- $1000 scholarship,three to Owings Mills and three to Franklin High School seniors. Michael Grimes
Key Club Sponsorship Provide financial support along with guidance to the Key Club at Franklin High School. Attend their weekly meetings to provide assistance if needed in conducting their club activities. Lindley DeGarmo
Key Leader Program Sponsor high school students to a week-end of fun, learning and fellowship on how to become an effective service leader. Donald Moore
Meals on Wheels Project Help with the local "Meals on Wheels" program in the Reisterstown/Glyndon area. Michael Grimes
Paper Shredding Project Providing a facility where the community can bring their valuable papers in to shred at no cost. Janice Dudey
Police/Firemen of the Year Awards Work with the area Police or Fire departments in choosing a Police or Fireman to be award the Police of Fireman of the Year for the Reisterstown/Owings Mills/Glyndon area. Jerald DeBar
Project Head Start Read to the children periodically; furnish them school supplies and back packs; assist program managers on other assistance activities Robert McNeish
Reister's Towne Festival Selling Funnal Cakes during this two day festival to raise funds to support our various sservice projets. Gary Beck
Reisterstown Arts Festival Sell funnel cakes at this one day festival to raise funds to support our various service projects. Gary Beck
Safe Sitter Program Conduct an 8-hour training program for 13-14 year olds to teach them on how to be a proficient and knowledgable baby sitter. This is conducted in conjuction with the St. Joseph Hospital nursing staff. Robert McNeish
Spinsoza Bear Project Work with the Univ of MD Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital to identify terminally ill children who need assistance in working through their illness. Robert McNeish
Terrific Kids Program Provide financial support to 11 elememtary schools to conduct the Terrific Kids programs in their schools. Michael Grimes
Timbergrove ES "Summer Fun Fest 08" Sell funnel cakes at the school's Summer Fun Fest event to raise funds to support our various service projects. Gary Beck
Toby's Dinner Theatre Attend a Dinner Theatre - "Joseph and his Amasing Dreamcoat". This is a fundraiser to raise funds to support our various service projects. J Guy
