Past Governor of the Capital District, John Tyner, was with us to update the club on the success of the IDD (Iodine Deficiency Disorder) program in Bhutan in Asia.
Our club has given the George F. Hixson award to many of our members over the years, with the money going to Kiwanis International to fight IDD.
